Pareciera/ It seems.

El navegante.

                              (El navegante)

Pareciera.

Pareciera que esas sombras

que tus ojos sembraron

en el caos de la noche

se fueron disipando

con las primeras luces del día,

creo que cuando parpadeas

los balances de las flores

pierden su centro y los pájaros

deambulan sin dirección

entre el denso respiro de las almas

que con vuelos erráticos tratan

de romper el hielo de tus ojos.

Pareciera que desde tu garganta

el frío se abalanza con tenazas feroces

tratando de engullir las verdades

He tratado de detener tus brazos

It seems.

It seems that the shadows

your eyes sowed

in the chaos of the night

they were dissipating

with first light of day,

I think when you blink

balances flowers

lose their center and birds

wander aimlessly

between the dense breath of souls

with erratic flight treat

to break the ice of your eyes.

It seems that from your throat

cold ferocious lunges with tongs

trying to swallow the truth

I tried to stop your arms

when they want to stop

the torrent of sight,

there are times when the vortex of your voice

creates a new space

where objects come to life.

It seems that tears

poured in hours of boredom

They were dispelled with the arrival of the

aurora transforming

guardians of the treasures

that hide in your lips.

Se disuelven.

Siempre renaceremos.

                                                                     (Siempre renaceremos)

Dissolve.

love dissolves in the air
with a smile full of gunpowder,
and looking the moon with the question
in the throat, is not been use for,
the streets become rides
of anyone, cross, and we look
with misgivings, with a wink of
you do not exist.
The words dissolve
between the angle of the mouth,
and if I write makes me ache
my soul, my heart is crushed
with every bullet flying without reason,
Will we have to make way
in silent?
nowhere is it that awaits when we turn
the corner,
the eyes of the eyes see only the tinsel
hanging from the windows,
tomorrow I buy dreams shoes,
but side to me the death walking
carrying in their hands the hatred
of other.
Love is dissolved in the air,
carrying with him the souls of men.

Las verdades.

Desde lo más profundo de tus libros

sedienta

salio la verdad repartiendo

a los vientos el aliento profundo

de la tierra y de su historia

nuestra historia

No, a la escrita a la sombra

de las repúblicas fariseas

No a la escrita con la sangre

milenaria de nuestros ancestros.

No a la espuria escrita sobre

los hombros de los desposeídos.

Desde lo más profundo de tus libros

en libertad volaron las aves

llevando en sus plumajes

los colores terrestres de nuestra

America vapuleada,

el vaivén de sus alas

barrio la mentira sembrada

por los escribanos mercenarios

tus palabras alzaron nuestras testas

para enfrentar con el corazón

frente a frente a la mano carroñera

que roba día a día la savia

de nuestra existencia.

Desde lo más profundo de tus libros

salio el dolor de la verdad

de nuestras riquezas ocultas

en las entrañas

y de cómo kilo a kilo y sangre

nos despojaron

de ella.

Aprendí de los artilugios

de la magia, de las escaleras

cruzando el firmamento

para alcanzar las estrellas

en las noches secuestradas

de los dioses que granjean

sus verdades a los creyentes.

Desde lo más profundo de tus libros

aprendí el amor profundo

a mis raíces y mi gente.

The truths.

From the depths of your books

Thirsty

the truth set off

spreading out to the winds

the deep breath

land and its history

our history

No, written in the shade

of the Pharisaic republics

Not written with blood

of our ancient ancestors.

No written the spurious on

the shoulders of the poor.

From the depths of your books

birds flew released

carrying in their plumage

the colors of our land

battered America,

the sway of their wings

sown the lie

by mercenaries writer

your words lifted our heads

to deal with heart

facing the scavenger hand

stealing the daily sap

of our existence.

From the depths of your books

came the pain of truth

of our treasures

hidden in the bowels

and how kilo for kilo and blood

they stripped us

from her.

I learned about the magic

gadgets, stairs

across the sky

to reach the stars

in the abducted nights

of the gods that winning over

its truths to believers.

From the depths of your books

I learned the deep love

to my roots and my people.

El desbordamiento.

Luchando contra la adversidad.

                                                  (luchando contra la adversidad)

El desbordamiento.

Los perros sagrados de la montaña

una mañana

con sigilo descargaron

sus movimientos feroces

estremecieron las laderas

dejando escapar las vivas

lenguas de lodo

esparciendo los fogonazos

del silencio,

sus colmillos voraces mancharon

con sangre los ríos del báratro

los recónditos umbríos del desierto

cubrieron de dolor sus habitantes.

Son seres invisibles azotados

por la furia, el barro,

engañados entre los mentirosos

y envilecidos,

miran el espacio rasgando con sus ojos

las oscuras nubes del olvido

el cielo en su estrépito

los abandono dejando caer

en caída libre las rocas que

estuvieron inerte en el tiempo.

Son seres invisibles

el color de su piel

se transformo en el fango

espeso de la muerte.

el aire lleva entre sus poros

el olor pestilente

de los contaminantes,

sus piernas no responden

al mandato de la vida.

Los caminos son la vía

de los desperdicios

viajando a la velocidad

de los gritos.

The overflow.

The sacred mountain dogs

one morning

stealthily downloaded

his fierce movements

shook the slopes

letting out living

tongues of mud

spreading the flashes

of silence,

their voracious fangs stained

the hell bloody rivers

the remote shadowy of the desert

covered with pain their inhabitants.

They are invisible beings whipped

by the fury, mud,

deceived by liars

and debased,

look the space tearing with the eyes

the dark clouds of oblivion

the sky in its roar

abandonment them dropping

free falling rocks

that were inert in time.

They are invisible beings

the color of their skin

turned into the color of mud

thick of death.

the air carry in their pores

the stench

contaminants,

their legs do not respond

the mandate of life.

The roads are the way

of waste

traveling at speed

of the screams.

Tus líneas.

Condor y caballo

                                                                                     (Condor y caballo)

Tus líneas.

Las líneas que forman tu cuerpo

las acabo de encontrar entre

los contornos de la montaña,

otras se han mimetizado

en el sinuoso entorno

de las flores, líneas

que son parte de la geografía,

las encuentro en el serpenteante

movimiento de la arena

que surca el océano,

entre las legumbres que se mecen

en la feria de los domingo.

Las línea que forman tu cuerpo

son parte inherente de los contornos

de los muebles, de la loza,

de los objetos minúsculos

que pueblan los estantes,

las detecto entre el sonido

claro de los pájaros,

algunas se congregan

entre la algarabía de los paseantes,

las busco a tientas entre

las sombras de la tarde.

Las líneas que forman tu cuerpo

están en todas partes,

a veces he intentado

con el uso de una linterna

descubrirlas entre los dibujos

que la luna aventura abocetar

en la noche,

son líneas de color tornasolado

en los momentos cuando

dormitas,

con los destellos

de la mañana solo se refleja

en el añil de su magnitud

cuando toca tus manos,

en otros instantes con la cadencia

de tu andar inunda el horizonte

con sus tonos de sepia.

Las líneas que forman tu cuerpo

con el prisma de un espejismo

en la distancia cobran vida

entregando a mi existencia

la llave que abre en las latitudes

de mi alma otras esperanzas.

Your lines.

The lines that make up your body

I just found between

the contours of the mountain,

others have mimicked

in the winding environment

flowers, lines

that are part of the geography,

I encounter in the winding

sand movement

that crosses the ocean,

between the vegetables swaying

at the fair of Sunday.

The line up your body

They are an inherent part of the contours

furniture, crockery,

of tiny objects

populating the shelves,

I detected between

the clear sound of birds,

Some congregate

between the hubbub of strollers,

the I fumble between

the shadows of the evening.

The lines that make up your body

They are everywhere,

I have sometimes tried

with the use of a flashlight

discover between the drawings

the adventure moon sketched

at night,

are colored lines iridescent

in times when

you doze,

with flashes of morning

only reflected

Indigo in magnitude

when you touch your hands,

at other times with the cadence

of your walking floods the horizon

with its shades of sepia.

The lines that make up your body

through the prism of a mirage

Muerte, paz, esperanza.

muerte,paz, esperanza

Muerte, paz y esperanza.

Cargo mi vida en mis ojos,

en el palpita de mi sangre,

llevo prendido como alhaja

que nunca se ha de desprender.

Cargo mi vida en mis ojos,

mi amada tiene su piel

cubierta con nuestros recuerdos

llevando en sus manos

un manojo de rosas rojas.

Death, peace and hope.

Load up my life in my eyes,

in the throb of my blood,

I carry on as jewel

that it never has to detach.

Load up my life in my eyes,

my beloved has in her skin

covered with our memories

carrying in their hands

a bunch of red roses.

Mort, la paix et l'espoir.

Charger ma vie à mes yeux,

lancinante dans mon sang,

Je continue comme bijou

il n'a jamais à se détacher.

Charger ma vie à mes yeux,

Mon bien-aimé a votre peau

couverte avec nos souvenirs

portant dans leurs mains

un bouquet de roses rouges.

Que se vayan todos.

Los desposeidos.

                                                      (Los desposeídos)

Que se vayan todos.

que se vayan todos

ladrones de primera clase

aves de rapiña con prosapia

de cuello y corbata

perfumados en el odio

de la sangre desparramada

en los pisos de las casas,

endilgados en la música

del despojo

preclaros representantes

de un pueblo que seguirá

viviendo en el embuste

de la democracia.

Que se vayan todos,

La repulsa se deja sentir

con el eco de no más mentiras

que con pestilencia

embadurnan los edificios

citadinos,

se cubren con el manto

de los despojos

son invisibles en el uso

del cohecho,

al hablar usan la jerigonza

para señalar los subterfugios

del robo,

con la eucaristía de los pederastas

se pasean de oficina

en oficina pregonando

cual sagaces son para sustraer.

Que se vayan todos,

son astutos republicanos

edulcorados con el halago

falaz de sus camaradas

nacidos en la misma camada

de gobernantes demagogos

que con argucias disímiles

quieren tramontar sus engaños.

Que se vayan todos

con sus faltriqueras

llenas de triquiñuelas

a ese mundo oscuro

de donde nunca deberían

haber salido.

Everyone leaves.

everyone leaves,

Thieves of first class

raptors with illustrious families

with collar and tie

scented with the hatred

blood scattered

on the floors of the houses,

saddled in the music

of dispossession

enlightened representatives

of a people who will continue

living in the lie

of democracy.

Everyone leaves,

The rejection is felt

with the echo of no more lies

with pestilence

that smear the buildings

of the city dwellers,

they covered with the mantle

of plunder

they are invisible in use

bribery,

Uses speaking gibberish

to point subterfuge

theft,

with Eucharistic of pedophile

wander office

in office trumpeting

which sagacious

they are to take out.

Everyone leaves,

cunning Republicans

sweetened with the false

flattery of his comrades

born in the same litter

of demagogues rulers

that dissimilar tricks

want to sink with

their deceptions.

Everyone leaves

with pouches

full of tricks

to that dark world

where should never

have left.

Mi gente.

Caballos y peces.

                                                        (Caballos y peces)

Mi gente.

Quiero descubrir mi gente

en su trajinar sencillo

pero, siempre ahogados

en su miseria, en la tragedia

de las necesidades

cansados de la mentira

y del robo sin decoro

de la plusvalía diaria.

Quiero descubrir mi gente

en el jolgorio de sus fiestas

en el desenfreno del amor

sin tapujos, de los besos

silenciosos en los callejones

del misterio,

en el triunfo de sus miradas

llanas, en sus manos callosas

rebanando el pan de la mañana

en el orgullo de sus tareas

terminadas.

Quiero descubrir mi gente

y sus rostros curtidos por el frío

cordillerano de el viento relente

y sus pieles ajadas por la helada

que se filtra entre las murallas

carcomidas.

Quiero descubrir mi gente

viéndolos vencer el calor de la pampa

y en el campamento pala tras pala

excavando el barro que cada cruel

invierno los castiga sin misericordia.

Quiero descubrir mi gente

en lo férvido de sus caras

la ira por el destino aciago

y su mirada febril por no poder

brindarles el pan diario a su prole.

Quiero algún día descubrir mi gente

mirando cada amanecer

con el corazón henchido

por las esperanzas satisfechas.

My people.

I want to discover my people

in its simple way of living

but always drowned

in their misery, in the tragedy

of the needs

tired of the lie

and the robbery without decorum

of their daily gain.

I want to discover my people

in the revelry of his parties

in the openly love without restrain

and the silent kisses

in the mystery alleys

in the triumph of their

unpretentious looks

in their calloused hands

slicing the bread at morning

in the pride of their tasks

finished.

I want to discover my people

and their faces hardened by the cold

of the mountain range of the dew wind

and their skins worn by frost

that filters through the decayed

walls.

I want to discover my people

seeing them beat the heat of the pampas

and in the shanty town shovel after shovel

digging the mud that every unkind

Winter punished without mercy.

I want to discover my people

in their fervid faces

the anger by the tragic destiny

and his feverish eyes for failing to

provide daily bread for their offspring.

I want to someday find my people

looking every sunrise

with their heart filled with

hope .

Se que podré.

El mito del amor #2

                                                      (el mito del amor #2)

Se que podré.

Se que podré exprimir de tus ojos

los tonos de los colores

que han cubierto tu piel

para así poder pintar las líneas del

horizonte.

I know I can.

I know I can squeeze out of your eyes

the shades of colors

that have covered your skin

in order to paint the lines of

horizon.

I know I can get your hair

and able to weave a indestructible net

which will collect the hopes lost

in the paroxysm of death.

I know I can cleanse your body

with the early morning dew

to receive the coming sun

announcing a new day.

I know I can hold your hand in an act

of humility and take you from the edge

of the house down the road pointing

the vastest ocean.

I know I can touch with my fingers

the moisture of your lips

and open them to feel the ecstasy

of the noise of silence.

Armando Mendez Carrasco.

Armando mendez Carrasco

Armando Mendez Carrasco. (1915-1984)

Conoce antecesores. Sin ir muy lejos, se menciona a Juan Lucero de Augusto D’Halmar, El Río de Alfredo Gómez Morel, Hijo de Ladrón de Manuel Rojas, Los Hombres Oscuros y La Sangre y La Esperanza de Nicomedes Guzmán, al igual que Angurrientos de Juan Godoy, Este No es el Paraíso de Luis Rivano, Barrio Bravo de Luis Cornejo y la primera producción de Hernán Rivera Letelier.

Armando Mendez Carrasco. (1915-1984)

Belongs to that group of intelligent and enlightened Chilean intellectuals who dared to describe the human landscape, as it is, bluntly, using clear language, precise, every day of our people, or put it in other words without mincing words, it is a plain language without folds and can call things by their name. Armando Mendez Carrasco as many others were banished by the academy and elite intellectual from Chile, by the mere fact of not using the stale language of cultural aristocracy, full of euphemisms, sweetened and prudish, language that is used to extol everything it foreigner, language that lacks the vital essence of our people, bone the street language which conveys affection, friendship, tragedy and the ladino acumen of our people who are able to make fun of careerism of its peers. Therefore, his literary work was branded as pornographic and vilified.
From the “Website Escritores Cl”, I take this paragraph that says "The vision of prostitutes, pimps, parasites, is widely described in his novels and stories, all of which, it seems, was not favorite dish of Chilean literary criticism. So much so that one of the harshest critics and curators of Chile, said: "If the world described the novelist there really is not unusual for him out effective criminal, when children become adults and want to put the service passions lesson learned cunning and pugnacity of boys "(Raul Silva Castro). Correct, of course, the speaking of the characters, and finding swollen with "a dirty, rotten jargon".
The images presented in his work are poverty in all its splendor and daily violence that is a breeding ground in populations that do not have the right to dream of a better life.
Despite this, the writer rather than isolated, created his own publishing house that he named one of his characters: Juan Firula. Thus, Armando Mendez Carrasco can edit storybooks Juan Firula (1948), The widow Dolly (1951), The misconduct (1958), Two stories Jazz (1963); novels Wounded World (1955), Chicago Chico (1962), Order, Lieutenant! (1965), John Firula Chronicles (1965), Cachetón Pelota (1967) and The Shit (1970) Night without stories numbers (1980), John Firula Reflections (1973), Dictionary of Under world Slang (1979) the discipline of Carrasco Mendez it is nor strange in Chilean literature. Meet predecessors. Without going too far, he mentions John Lucero of Augusto D'Halmar, El Rio de Alfredo Gómez Morel, hijo de ladrón of Manuel Rojas , The Dark Men and Blood and The Hope of Nicomedes Guzmán, like moneybags of Juan Godoy , This is not the paradise Luis Rivano, Barrio Bravo Luis Cornejo and the very first literary work of Hernán Rivera Letelier.

The shadows.

The first shadows of the evening

drop the syncopated sound

of death.

The first shadows of the evening

drop the cadence of crickets

immersed in the depths of the earth

is the time when doubts

wrapped with hot tongs

the skin of the usurpers.

The first shadows of the evening

drop the syncopated sound

of death.

In that very moment

the monstrous jaws of fear

sprout leaves pestilence

from their putrid bowels.

The first shadows of the evening

drop the syncopated sound

of death.

The first shadows of the evening

unhook silent

from atop buildings

leaving behind the pale colored

of the the silence and the first cold

of night.

while the monsters rub

their hands with glee

its poisonous indulgence,

at every corner the seller of misery

disrespectful sings his impudence

disguising the ephemeral joy

in a tortuous path of tears

decant in the pain of the mother.

The first evening shadows

drop the syncopated sound

of death.

Pedro Lemebel o la resurrección del canto.

Pedro Lemebel.

                                                            Pedro Lemebel

Pedro Lemebel.

Pedro Lemebel.

Or the resurrection of singing.

You took us down the path of consciousness,
with the poignant truth of the words
showed the cruel reality of the dispossessed,
you pointed out the dreams of many with the warm

pace of your heart
the torrent of your voice sprawl abundant
the continent of the punished,
with the proletarian review of our history
you built the scaffolding from which the workers
may someday write free to all winds
the truths hidden by the bourgeois prose
melodramatic.
The Zanjon de la aguada saw your first steps
where you discovering the winding
Democracy prostituted in speech
tracing paper that appears every so
time selling the citizen representation
to the highest bidder,
estrellaste in the commercial face of the country
the real name of the Everyday
that traveling from mouth to mouth bounce
in the walls of the camps.
The stroke of your hand recorded the actual concepts
the eternal pursuit of the settlers
in their overcrowding of hopes and dreams.

De salto en salto.

El sueño onírico.

                                                        (Sueño onírico)

De salto en salto.

De salto en salto, veo tu rostro

dibujado en el intenso espejismo

que avizoro en la distancia,

acelero mi andar tratando de acortar

el espacio que nos separa

y así, poder ver mi esmirriada

figura recortada en el fulgor

de tus pupilas.

De salto en salto, me acerco

a mis verdades que se desfiguran

en un horizonte desvencijado

por los miles de intentos de querer

plasmarlo en un dibujo,

lo he intentado infinidades de veces

fallando en forma lamentable,

por cada tramo recorrido

las gotas de sudor corren

por mi rostro dejando la indeleble

huella de los años.

De salto en salto, mis pasos

me hacen trastabillar

terminando a veces con mi nariz

rasmillada de las tantas caídas,

hay veces que trato de asirme

a las ramas de los arbustos

quebrándolos con mi cuerpo inerte,

cabizbajo y en silencio trato

de evitar con mis saltos

las vallas que en silencio se interponen

entre tu pupila y las mías.

De salto en salto, me he percatado

que el engranaje de tus ojos

rigen la ruedas que gobiernan

las voces de mi corazón.

From jump to jump.

From jump to jump, I see your face
drawn in the intense mirage
I sighted in distance,
I accelerated my walk trying to shorten
the space between us
and so, to see my scrawny
silhouetted figure in the glare
of your pupils.
From Jump to jump, I approach
to my truths that disfigure
in a rickety horizon
by the thousands of attempts to want
translate it into a drawing,
I tried an infinite number of times
failing miserably,
for each way journey
beads of sweat run
my face leaving indelible
footprint of years.
from jump to jump, my steps
let me stumble
sometimes ending with my nose
scratched of many falls,
there are times that try to cling
the branches of the bushes
breaking them with my dead body,
downcast and silent I try
to avoid with my jumps
the fences that stand silent
between your pupil and mine.
From jump to jump, I've noticed
the gear of your eyes
governing the wheels that rule
the voices of my heart.

bautismales

busquen el refugio en la caterva

que han comprado.

Váyanse, han mordido la mano

del prójimo con el diente de oro

sustraen las riquezas para rapiñar

como viles usureros,

cuando sientes que el sol deja

de brillar corres ala guarnición

más cercana para tocar los aldabones.

Váyanse, basta de sacar

de la caja de Pandora

sus burdas triquiñuelas.

Go away.

Pack up your gear
and mounted on the crook mare
set riders to the cave of yours lies
get out, collect yours pouches
full of celebrity joke
and yours shitty acrobats juggling.
Open your mouth and get swallow one by one,
but do not forget to bring along
their satraps thieves,
get out and do not mislead the people
with flattering idleness leaving
of their mouths.
Go away, carrying the hypocritical look
peers for each night
and get covered by the blanket of freedom
and the democracy not
consume you of cold.
Go away thieves without PENTA
with their coats pompous
with the audacity of his theft,
camouflaging with the clergy
pusillanimous, exuding water
baptismal
seek refuge in the bunch
you purchased.
Go away, you have bitten the hand
the neighbor with the gold tooth
subtracted the wealth to prey
as vile usurers,
when you feel the sun leaves
to shine run to the nearest garrison
to touch the knockers.
Go away, is enough to take
from the Pandora Box
gross tricks.

Dissolve.

love dissolves in the air
with a smile full of gunpowder,
and looking the moon with the question
in the throat, is not been use for,
the streets become rides
of anyone, cross, and we look
with misgivings, with a wink of
you do not exist.
The words dissolve
between the angle of the mouth,
and if I write makes me ache
my soul, my heart is crushed
with every bullet flying without reason,
Will we have to make way
in silent?
nowhere is it that awaits when we turn
the corner,
the eyes of the eyes see only the tinsel
hanging from the windows,
tomorrow I buy dreams shoes,
but side to me the death walking
carrying in their hands the hatred
of other.
Love is dissolved in the air,
carrying with him the souls of men.

Momentos.

Basta ya.

                                                     (Basta ya)

Momentos.

Hay momentos que me pierdo entre

la cosas que transitan frente

a mis ojos.

a mis ojos.

Moments.

There are times that I will lose from
the things transiting
in from of my f my eyes.
When I lose the sense
of the job that cost
to produce bread,
when I do not feel the passage
of blind pedestrians
that walk with staring
on the gray horizon landscape,
when no one is aware of suffering
of those who do not have to eat,
when other with astonishment,
undaunted see their peers die
being unable to move a muscles
from their face in an attempt to emotion.
There are times when you want to
damn it and send the attachment to memories,
coloring the clouds with the colors
f my emotions,
and catch the horizon
to throw it to the purple reflection
of your eyes,
and not keep looking the connection
between the flight of the butterfly
and the falling tree.
There are times that I will lose from
the things transiting
to my eyes.

Susan Sontag.

Susan Sontag

Susan Sontag.

La inteligencia es un tipo de gusto:

gusto para las ideas. (Susan Sontag)

Con tu palabra libre y limpia

le contaste al mundo tus verdades

diciéndoles lo equivocado

que estaba,

le enrostraste las guerras descarnadas,

de muertos inocentes

tus libros fueron una bofetada

a los rostros pueriles de los gobernantes,

con tus ojos indicaste los puntos

débiles de los que se creen poderosos,

muchas cosas de la vida diaria

con tu voz volvieron a tener sentido.

Desde otras dimensiones veras

que tu caminar en esta vida

estuvo lleno de sentidos y razones.

Susan Sontag.

Intelligence is a type of taste:
taste for ideas. (Susan Sontag)

With your free and fair word
you tell the world your truths
saying the wrong thing
it was,
you reproach the brutal war
of innocent dead
your books were a slap
the trivial faces of the rulers,
with your eyes you indicated points
weak from those who think hey are powerful,
many things of everyday life
with your voice returned to make sense.
From other dimensions

you will see
that your walk in this life
was full of meanings and reasons.

Se enredan.

Viento.

(Viento)

Se enreda.

Se enreda el tiempo entre

los frenéticos trazos

de mis dibujos,

este, me toma entre sus manos

zamarreándome y llevando mis

sueños adonde no se donde,

no alcanzo a reponerme

It tangle.

Time is entangled in
the frantic strokes
of my drawings,
this takes me in his hands
shaking and carrying my
dreams where no where,
I trait to recuperate myself
from their juggling, when
he take me in his mouth trying
regurgitating what he reach
and snatch from their bites
I do not know where this, madman,
extract strength to twist
my designs.
The only time where space
devours time, leaving
the taste of a bitter fruit
that’s when my eyes lock
the immobility of the objects.
Time becomes entangled in the cavities
of my veins trying to stop
the torrent of blood still warm,
I seem to lose the course
of things, trying to draw
a line that makes sense
and balance instants
the axis of my body seizes me,
take my hand to drag
the boiling center of the earth
and time using all
his wiles manages
to wrap my body frozen stiff
in sackcloth,
shady covered with silt.
But I conjure up his wanderings
with the spell of colors
pull out from the magic
of wild nature.

El aparador.

Nuestro tiempo a llegado

(Nuestro tiempo ha llegado)

El aparador.

Entre los cenicientos objetos

que inundan el aparador

me pareció atisbar las huellas

de mis antiguos escritos

que hablaban de las cosas

cotidianas y narraban

el sino de mis banalidades,

me recuerdo que en algunas

de las páginas colocaba flores

que arrancaba del jardín

y con el tiempo poder

tatuarlas en la piel

de las esperanzas,

cada vez que me acuerdo

la melancolía me lleva

al interior de su vientre

donde me maltrata a su gusto

y a cada instante me enrostra

la falta de valentía.

Me da la impresión

que si algún día las encuentro

las páginas lucirán amarillentas

y sus orillas corroídas

por los insectos que inevitable

y sin misericordia engullen el tiempo.

El golpe seco de una puerta

al cerrarse me saco de golpe

de mi ensimismamiento

y mis ojos vieron el reflejo

difuso de mi figura impreso

en el gastado vidrio.

Al verme desdibujado

mis recuerdos se apoderaron

haciendo cambiar la lividez

de mi rostro, y el ceño

de mi mirada se había

desvanecido dándome cuenta

que se fue enredando

en el soliloquio de mis desvaríos.

The buffet.

Among the ashen objects
flooding the buffet
I believe to found glimpse traces
of my old writings
that speak of daily things
and narrated
the fate of my banalities,
I remember that I placed
flowers in between the pages
I take from the garden
and with time eventually to
to etched in the skin of hopes,
whenever I remember
the melancholy takes me
inside your belly
where he mistreats me
and every moment he reproached me
lack of courage.
I get the impression
if someday I encounter
the pages will look yellowish
and its edges corroded
by insects unavoidable
and without mercy gobble time.
The thud of a door
shut me out at once
from my reverie
and my eyes saw the diffuse

reflection
of my figure printed
in the worn-out glass.
Seeing me blurred
my memories seized
by changing the paleness
of my face and the brow
of my gaze was
faded realizing
which was tangling
on the soliloquy of my ramblings.
